1950's Gold Label Brooks Brown Cafe Racer Jacket, Brooks 511 Road Warrior, Brooks Leather Sportswear, Detroit Michigan

This is the first model of motorcycle jacket Brooks released. In 1959 the 511 Road Warrior was a call to offer up a different take on the biker jacket. Instead of creating the "Perfecto" style developed by Schott, Brooks decided to manufacture the cafe racer, which at the time was a popular style in Europe. It was sleek and streamlined and it had more of a racing style and less of the gritty biker style with multi-pockets and an angled zipper.
