Original 1950's Horsehide Gerberel Harro West German Biker Leather Jacket, Size 48

This motorcycle jacket dates back to the 1950's and not only is it historically significant but it is stylistically vital. This style of jacket was more than likely used by a soldier/other in the West German army, a part of the motorcycle unit. The Ruhr zippers are metal (high quality aluminum?) and from my research date back to the 1950's. Also, I had a leather professional check out the jacket and I was told this jacket is horsehide. Incredible!

It has wear but no significant damage and would look its best if taken to a leather professional and cleaned up. The zippers and buckles are in wonderful and functional condition. I would personally rate this jacket an 8 out of a 10 - even with the wear.
